Sun Life Dunk for Diabetes is a national initiative that helps prevent type 2 diabetes by teaching kids aged 7 – 12 the value of healthy, active lifestyles. Participants in the program will compete in weekly basketball-themed fitness and nutrition challenges over a six-week period.

At the end of every week, prizes are given to the winners of each of the challenges. When the program wraps up, the top 10 kids from each of our Clubs will have the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments with the Toronto Raptors and NBA Legends. Sun Life Dunk for Diabetes will launch at 5 Toronto-area Clubs this fall, and will expand nationally to 20 other locations across Canada by early 2018.
