LÉVIS, QC, JULY 22, 2025/insPRESS/ –  GUS, the largest network of property restoration professionals in Canada, is proud to announce a national partnership with BGC Canada, formerly known as Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. Dedicated to helping young people thrive, this iconic organization provides children and teens with safe, welcoming spaces to explore new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop the confidence and skills they need for life.

Every year, more than 160,000 young people walk through the doors of more than 600 BGC Clubs across the country. By partnering with BGC Canada, GUS aims to amplify this impact by mobilizing its franchisees to take part in concrete initiatives within their local communities. This partnership marks a new milestone in the group’s social commitment.

“Our network is made up of dedicated individuals whose hearts are in the right place. Across the country, initiatives to support our communities were already emerging naturally. Since our work is to help people, we felt it was time to align these acts of generosity behind a shared cause to create even greater impact. That’s why we chose to become a national partner of BGC Canada, an organization whose mission truly resonates with us,” says François Hétu, President of GUS.

Since 2001, the GUS Foundation has provided essential support to disaster victims without resources, delivering emergency aid during critical times. This mission remains at the heart of its actions. However, with this new partnership, GUS also wants to help prevent crises by positively influencing young people’s life journeys. “The goal is simple but meaningful: if we can help children and teens today, maybe they’ll never need the GUS Foundation tomorrow,” adds Mr. Hétu.

Brooke Duval, Senior Director of  at BGC Canada, welcomes this collaboration:
“At BGC, we believe every young person deserves equal opportunities, no matter their postal code. This partnership with GUS is a fantastic opportunity to build lasting connections between our clubs and committed players in the business community across Canada. Together, we can provide young people with even safer, more inspiring, and future-focused environments.”

To measure the partnership’s concrete impact and foster a culture of engagement, GUS will implement a tracking and analysis system for all volunteer actions and financial contributions made by participating franchisees. This will help better understand results on the ground, showcase local initiatives, and inspire the entire network.

Through this partnership, all members of the GUS network will be called upon to actively get involved across the country by supporting BGC Clubs and their initiatives that help young people at key moments in their development.

Funding for the Fill Your Tank Program & ROAD Forward Initiative Reaffirms Long-Standing Commitment to Fostering Healthy, Thriving Communities

Today, Enterprise Mobility announced it will expand efforts to address food insecurity and advance social equity by committing more than $200 million through its Fill Your Tank program and ROAD Forward initiative. The grant funding will continue to strengthen communities where Enterprise Mobility operates in North America and Europe by supporting local nonprofit organizations and key partners.

“From our first days in business, we have been deeply committed to fostering healthy, thriving communities in the places where Enterprise Mobility team members live and work,” said Chrissy Taylor, president & chief executive officer at Enterprise Mobility. “This investment builds on that legacy, helping us continue to tackle hunger as well as support education, health and wellness, and career prep for youth and young adults.”

By 2030, the Fill Your Tank program and ROAD Forward initiative will have provided a collective investment of over $375 million in grants from Enterprise Mobility’s operating groups and the Enterprise Mobility Foundation.

Fill Your Tank

Launched in 2016, the Fill Your Tank program was created to address food insecurity and work toward a future without hunger. By 2030, more than $210 million will be granted to key partners, as well as local food banks and food programs in communities throughout Enterprise Mobility’s 70+ operating groups. ROAD Forward

Launched in 2020, the ROAD Forward initiative supports organizations that address social equity gaps in communities where Enterprise Mobility operates. By 2030, nearly $165 million will have been granted to local nonprofits and key partners through ROAD Forward to support early childhood development, youth health and wellness, and career and college preparation. Since its inception, more than 1,000 local organizations have received grants through the ROAD Forward initiative, driving a tangible, positive impact in hundreds of communities.

Local nonprofits for both Fill Your Tank and ROAD Forward are selected by Enterprise Mobility’s operating groups. This empowers team members to take the lead in identifying the organizations best equipped to address hunger and social equity gaps in their neighborhoods.

“Through Enterprise Mobility’s latest investment, we’re standing behind our core value to strengthen communities across North America and Europe,” said Carolyn Kindle, president of the Enterprise Mobility Foundation. “Seeing the transformative impact of these programs has been inspiring, and we’re thrilled to build on the momentum.”

To date, Enterprise Mobility has donated over a half billion dollars to charitable organizations worldwide through its operating groups and the Enterprise Mobility Foundation. Program doubles our impact to help over 100,000 youth

Rogers supports youth to build a stronger Canada, and we are proud to announce new partnerships for our Rogers Youth Grants program – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, BGC Canada, NPower Canada, and YMCAs across Canada.

Each of our new national partners will receive $450,000 combined cash and in-kind media to raise awareness of their work and deepen their impact. Over 50 regional organizations across Canada will also receive grants to support local programs. In total, Rogers is investing nearly $3 million in grants and in-kind media through the 2024 program, doubling our impact to reach 100,000 youth ages 12-29 through educational and employment programs.

“Investing in Canada’s youth is an investment in our country’s future,” said Navdeep Bains, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Rogers. “Our national partners were chosen for their longstanding commitment to making an indelible impact in the lives of young people facing barriers. All the grant recipients across Canada, no matter their size, will provide critical jobs and skills training, education, and mentorship programs to ensure young people can realize their dreams.”

Rogers has awarded nearly $10 million through youth granting programs since 2017, and it awards hundreds of Ted Rogers Scholarships to youth across Canada annually.

QUOTES – National Partners

“Our partners at Rogers understand that their generous investment in BBBS Teen Mentoring programs today delivers so much value to so many youth long-term. The single most common factor for children who do well is having the support of one stable and committed relationship with an adult. The Rogers Youth Grant means that over 350 mentee-mentor matches will be ignited across 24 local BBBS communities across Canada and inspire the growth of even more local Teen Mentoring programs. Together with Rogers, we are further tackling the problem of childhood adversities in rural, remote and urban communities.”
– Jill Zelmanovits, CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada

“The Rogers Youth Grant for a national YMCA Achievers program will have a profoundly positive impact on the lives of young people including Indigenous youth in Manitoba, Black youth in Ontario, and newcomer youth in Quebec. In Toronto, it will help address systemic barriers by supporting the social and academic development of Black high school students through relationships with Black role models participating in our YMCA Black Achievers Mentorship Program.”
– Lesley Davidson, President and CEO, YMCA of Greater Toronto

“We’re grateful to Rogers for their investment in our work. This commitment will help more deserving jobseekers launch sustainable careers through our free workforce development program and contribute to creating a more equitable digital economy.”
– Julia Blackburn, CEO, NPower Canada

“We are grateful to partner with Rogers to deliver the Keystone Youth Leadership program. This partnership will allow us to positively impact the lives of almost 45,000 young people across the country. Keystone is designed to help young people develop valuable leadership skills, confidence, and build connections with peers and caring mentors. Together, Rogers and BGC Canada will develop new leaders, enhance community engagement and ultimately help young people to be prepared and ready to work.”
– Owen Charters, President and CEO of BGC Canada
